I originally hail from the Washington, DC (metro) area and currently (happily) reside in East Nashville, TN. In my younger days, I spent significant time abroad in France, prior to attending the College of William & Mary, and in London, post-graduation. At the tender age of 26, I discovered a love of working with my hands and started making jewelry at home using vintage materials and selling my designs on etsy and at local craft shows. Less than one year later, I was taking metalsmithing classes at the Corcoran College of Art + Design in DC and I was hooked! I continue to study today at Sarratt Art Studios in Nashville. I launched my first line of original jewelry in the spring of 2011, and except for a few breaks that life has necessitated, I have been designing and creating jewelry ever since. My sterling silver, brass, and copper jewelry is modern and inventive, with a focus on line and form. I strive to make jewelry that is simple enough for everyday, but a little unexpected too.
